ABOUT THE BRICS STUDENT COMMISSION
The BRICS Student Commission Conference 2025 (BRICS+ SC Conference 2025) is a premier multilateral youth and policy dialogue platform hosted by South Africa from 11 –12 November 2025 under the theme: “Advancing Resilient and Inclusive Development: BRICS in the Green, Blue and Digital Era.” The conference serves as a strategic initiative of the BRICS+ Student Commission (BRICS+ SC) to strengthen collaboration among the BRICS+ nations — by fostering youth participation in global development, research, and innovation. The platform aims to connect young leaders, policymakers, researchers, industry experts, and civil society actors to co-develop practical solutions for shared socio-economic and environmental challenges. Although the BRICS+ Student Commission functions independently, it aligns its initiatives with the broader BRICS+ cooperation framework and the global 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, emphasizing inclusive growth, sustainability and technological advancement.
